The City of Martinsville currently participates as a member of the Morgan County Solid Waste District. The district currently has recycling bins located on North Park Avenue in Martinsville. It is anticipated that by January, 2021, the recycling location will be relocated to the City of Martinsville Transfer Station on Rose Street in Martinsville. The Common Council recognizes the current Park Avenue site and the future Rose Street site as the recycling center for the city.
