885.01 IMPOSITION AND RATE.

(a) A fee is hereby imposed upon all persons engaged in the business of providing cable service or video service within the city at the rate of 5% of the gross revenue made in the course of such business.

(b) The term “gross revenue” has the same meaning as that term is defined in Section 21-801(c) of the Illinois Cable and Video Competition Law of 2007 (220 ILCS 5/21-801(c)), as amended.
