That certain document marked and designated as the National Electrical Code, 1999 Edition, as promulgated by the National Fire Protection Association, is hereby adopted as the Electrical Code of the City, for the control of buildings and structures as therein provided, save and except for such portions thereof as may be amended or repealed in this chapter.
