820.24 REVOCATION OF LICENSE; FINES.
   The Mayor may revoke or suspend any license issued under this chapter if the Mayor determines that the licensee has violated any provisions of any state law pertaining to the sale of alcoholic liquor or any valid ordinance or resolution enacted by the City Council for the City or any applicable rule or regulation established by the Mayor or State Commission which is not inconsistent with law. In addition to the suspension, the Mayor may levy a fine on the licensee for such violation. The fine imposed shall not exceed one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) for each violation; each day on which a violation continues shall constitute a separate violation. Not more than ten thousand dollars ($10,000.00) in fines under this section may be imposed against any licensee during the period of the licensee’s license.
