610.06 CRUELTY TO ANIMALS.
   (a)   No person shall:
      (1)   Overload, overdrive, overwork, ill treat, torture, torment, mutilate or cruelly kill any animal or cause or knowingly allow the same to be done;
      (2)   Cruelly work any old, maimed, infirm, sick or disabled animal or cause or knowingly allow the same to be done;
      (3)   Unnecessarily fail to provide any animal in his or her charge or custody, as owner or otherwise, with proper food, drink and shelter;
      (4)   Abandon any old, maimed, infirm, sick or disabled animal; or
      (5)   Carry or drive or keep or cause to be carried, driven or kept, any animal in an unnecessarily cruel manner.

   (b)   No person shall cruelly mistreat any animal, including dogs, in any way, or inhumanely beat, underfeed, overload or abandon any animal.
