236.03 RECEIPT AND PAYMENT OF FUNDS.

The City Treasurer shall perform such duties as may be prescribed by statute or ordinance. He or she shall receive all money paid into the City, either directly from the person owing the City or indirectly from a person acting for another who owes the City. The City Treasurer shall pay out money only on vouchers or written orders signed by the City Clerk and the Mayor.
