The City Treasurer shall give bond in the amount of sixty thousand dollars ($60,000), with sureties to be approved by Council. The bond shall be conditioned upon the faithful performance of his or her duties of office, and shall indemnify the City for any loss due to any neglect of duty or wrongful act on the part of the City Treasurer pertaining to such office.
