§ 34.99 PENALTY.

   (A)   Any person violating any provision of this chapter for which no specific penalty is prescribed shall be subject to § 10.99.

   (B)   (1)   A person who violates any provision of § 34.03 shall be punished, upon conviction, by a fine not to exceed $500.

      (2)   Notwithstanding § 34.03(B)(1) above, no penalty for a violation shall be greater or less than the penalty provided for the same or similar offense under the laws of the state.

      (3)   Except as otherwise provided in § 34.03, a separate offense shall be deemed committed upon each day on or during which a violation occurs or continues.

      (4)   Prosecution for violation of a provision of § 34.03 above is not a prerequisite or bar to any other remedy or relief for the violation under state law or § 34.03.
