(A) Prior to initiating any construction work, the contractor and all subcontractors shall conduct a preconstruction conference with the city, City Engineer, City Inspector and all affected franchised utilities.
(B) Prior to the preconstruction conference, the contractor shall provide a proposed construction sequence and schedule and a traffic safety plan, if required, for review and approval by the City Engineer.
(C) As a general rule, the following construction sequence shall be employed:
(1) Step 1. Install temporary erosion/sedimentation controls;
(2) Step 2. Rough cut streets;
(3) Step 3. Install utilities;
(4) Step 4. Final grading;
(5) Step 5. Paving; and
(6) Step 6. Hydromulch, final clean-up.
