(A) A special fee of $50 is imposed for the issuance and service of arrest warrants issued out of the Municipal Court in accordance with Tex. Code of Crim. Proc. Art., 102.011.
(B) If a person after issuance of an arrest warrant, voluntarily appears at the Municipal Court without the warrant being served and without the Police Department having sent a notice to the person, the fee may not be imposed. The fee may be imposed without a court order. The fee will be collected regardless of whether or not the defendant is convicted. The fee collected shall be deposited into the municipal treasury.
