The subdivider shall give consideration to one or more suitable sites for public parks, playgrounds and other public community facilities in accordance with the comprehensive plan and associated plans and policies of the city. A school site approved by the school district for purchase by the district shall be considered an eligible community facility for the purpose of this subchapter. Any provision for schools, parks and the like, shall be indicated on the plat.
