§ 154.026 MINOR PLAT.
A minor plat is a recordable plat involving four or fewer new lots fronting on an existing street and not requiring the creation of any new street or the extension of municipal facilities. A minor plat does not require prior approval of a preliminary plat, and is prepared and processed in accordance with the requirements for final plats as specified in § 154.025 above, except that it may be approved administratively by the City Planner. The City Planner may, for any reason, elect to present the plat to the Commission or, if the City Planner refuses to approve the plat, it shall be referred to the Commission for approval or denial, in accordance with the procedures for final plats, within three weeks of the City Planner's denial. If a variance is requested by the applicant, the minor plat must be referred to the Commission for approval or denial of both the variance and the plat.
