§ 151.04 APPOINTMENT OF HISTORIC RESERVATION OFFICER.
   (A)   The Commission, with the approval of the City Council or a designee, shall appoint a qualified city official, city staff person or volunteer to serve as Historic Preservation Officer. This Officer shall administer this chapter and advise the Commission on matters submitted to it. The City Building Official will serve as the Historic Preservation Officer if a separate Officer has not been designated.
   (B)   In addition to serving as representative of the Commission, the Officer is responsible for coordinating the city's preservation activities with those of state and federal agencies and with local, state and national nonprofit preservation organizations.
