(A) A violation of this chapter shall constitute a misdemeanor, and upon conviction, shall be punishable by a fine in an amount not to exceed $500. In addition, the city may also direct the city attorney to bring a civil action in a court of competent jurisdiction to enforce the provisions of this chapter.
(B) The city may direct the City Attorney to bring a civil action in a court of competent jurisdiction to enforce the provisions of this chapter. Additionally, the city shall be entitled to recover its reasonable attorney's fees and expenses for prosecuting any violation of this chapter to a successful conclusion.
