A violation of this chapter shall constitute a Class C misdemeanor, and upon conviction, shall be punishable by a fine pursuant to the general penalty set forth in the city code of ordinances for the city. In addition, the city may also direct the City Attorney to bring a civil action in a court of competent jurisdiction to enforce the provisions of this chapter.
