If, at any time during a sale under provisions of this chapter, the City Clerk shall determine that any of the sections of this chapter or any of the statements in such license application were untrue or have been or are being violated by the applicant, the City Clerk may immediately revoke the license, and it shall thenceforth be unlawful for the applicant or licensee to continue such sale until a new license is issued in accordance with the terms of this chapter.
