The city has the ability to issue, suspend and revoke licenses and permits as permitted under I.C.A. Ch. 123. Where state law defines words and phrases used in this chapter, such definitions shall apply to their use in this chapter and are adopted by reference. Where “Administrator” is used in I.C.A. Ch. 123, for definitional purposes, shall mean the “City Council of the City of Marshalltown, Iowa”.
