(A) For the purposes of this section and § 74.001(B) and (C) of this chapter, the term THROUGH TRAFFIC is defined as operation of a motor vehicle in excess of a registered weight of eight tons on the streets designated pursuant to § 74.001(A) of this chapter for purposes other than those designated in § 74.001(B) of this chapter.
(B) Any person violating the provisions of § 74.001(A) and (B) of this chapter shall, upon conviction, be fined not more than $100.
