§ 73.043 PLACES WHERE OPERATION PROHIBITED.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful to operate a snowmobile upon the following:
      (1)   On the following streets:
         (a)   All state or federal highways within the city;
         (b)   On any street or highway designated as a one-way street;
         (c)   On Anson Street;
         (d)   On South 3rd Avenue from Anson Street to Linn Street;
         (e)   Within any portion of an area bounded on the north by the north curb line of Webster Street, on the west by the west curb line of 3rd Street, on the south by the south curb line of Boone Street and on the east by the east curb line of 3rd Avenue;
         (f)   Twelfth Street between Main Street and Summit Street;
         (g)   Thirteenth Street between Main Street and Summit Street;
         (h)   Fourth Avenue between Church and State Street;
         (i)   Olive Street between 4th Street and 2nd Avenue;
         (j)   East Meadow Lane from Center Street to 2nd Avenue;
         (k)   Sixth Street from Olive Street to Madison Street; and/or
         (l)   Southridge Road from Center Street to 3rd Avenue.
      (2)   Within 300 feet of a school, college, church, hospital or nursing home;
      (3)   Upon any cemetery, school ground, park, playground, recreational area, golf course or private property of any person unless express permission to so operate has been secured by the proper authority; and/or
      (4)   Upon the grounds of the Iowa Veterans Home and Iowa Veterans Home Cemetery.
   (B)   Notwithstanding division (A) above, a snowmobile may be operated upon such city streets when the operator thereof resides on one of the prohibited streets, but only when arriving or leaving the premises and only on the most direct route from his or her residence to the nearest street where operation is permitted.
