§ 71.010 ELEVATED STRUCTURES.
   (A)   (1)   No person shall drive a vehicle on any public bridge or elevated structure at a speed which is greater than the maximum speed permitted under this chapter on the street or highway at a point where the street or highway joins the bridge or elevated structure.
      (2)   Provided that, if the maximum speed permitted on the street or highway differs from the maximum speed on any other street or highway joining the bridge or elevated structure, the lowest of the speeds shall be the maximum speed limit on the bridge or elevated structure.
   (B)   However, no person shall drive a vehicle over any bridge or other elevated structure constituting a part of a highway at a speed that is greater than the maximum speed that can be maintained with safety to such bridge or structure, when such structure is signposted as provided by law.
