§ 57.053 AUTHORITY OF CITY TO REPAIR BROKEN, DEFECTIVE SIDEWALKS; STATEMENT OF COSTS.
   The nuisance officer or such other city officer as may be designated by the Mayor or City Council may cause to be repaired, with or without notice to the property owner, all broken or defective sidewalks when in an unsafe, broken or defective condition, and he or she shall return to the Council an itemized and verified statement of expenditures of labor and materials used in making such repairs and the description of the lot or parcel of ground abutting on which such repairs have been made.
