(A) Wherever it is necessary to go under the pavement for any purpose, the pavement shall be replaced in accordance with the city’s Standard Specifications for Street Excavation and Pavement Restoration.
(B) Whenever a permit is required to make an excavation through the paved surface of any public street, avenue or public way and the same has been refilled as required by ordinance for resurfacing the area for such excavation, the City Engineer shall be notified thereof.
(C) The permit holder shall be responsible for all costs to complete the surfacing of the excavation.
