Under this chapter, each alarm is the property and responsibility of the owner, not the city. If a system malfunction occurs, it shall be the owner’s responsibility to either disable or repair the alarm system within a reasonable time period. Failure to comply may result in assessment of a service fee determined by Council, plus the cost the city may incur to disable the alarm.
