The appointees under this subchapter shall perform such duties as required by law, statute, ordinance, position description and as directed by the City Administrator. The Mayor shall continue to be the chief executive officer of the city, without additional compensation, shall act as the City Administrator when the office is vacant and shall continue his or her other duties as set forth in the state code and this code of ordinances.
