(A) The owner or other person having an interest in all homes, businesses, premises and improved parcels of real estate in the unincorporated areas of the county shall prominently display the road address in numerals not less than three inches in height in a location clearly visible from the nearest road.
(B) The County Plan Director will maintain a master address listing of all homes and businesses within the unincorporated areas of the county. The Plan Director shall have the responsibility and authority for issuing new addresses with building permits, as well as reissuing new addresses to homes and businesses using incorrect addresses based upon the county road numbering and addressing system.
(C) The County Plan Director shall have the power and authority, from time to time, to inspect all premises and to compile a list of premises not complying with this chapter.
(D) The County Plan Director may cause due notice of noncompliance to be sent to each affected property owner or other person having an interest in such property and said persons shall be given 30 days within which to comply with the terms of this chapter.
(E) Information concerning the violation of the terms of this chapter may be referred to the prosecuting attorney for representation and enforcement.
