§ 91.11 DOMESTIC ANIMAL BITE.
   Whenever any domestic animal bites a person other than the owner or keeper of said animal, the owner or keeper of said animal shall immediately notify the City of Marseilles police. The owner or keeper shall upon the request of the Police Department impound the animal for such period of time and at such location as requested by the Police Department to assure the animal is free from any disease which may be injurious to the person bitten. The owner or keeper shall be liable for the cost of impoundment. Any animal not redeemed at the end of the confinement period may be destroyed.
