§ 91.01 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   BITE. With teeth, to cut or break the skin of a person, other than the owner or keeper, or to cut or break the skin of an animal owned or kept by another party.
   DANGEROUS ANIMAL. An animal shall be deemed a DANGEROUS ANIMAL if it meets one or more of the following conditions:
      (1)   It attacked a person or animal one or more times without provocation; or
      (2)   It manifests a disposition to attack, snap or bite without provocation.
   DOG. Any animal, male and female of the canine species.
   DOMESTIC ANIMALS. Dogs, cats, small aquatic animals, small amphibians or small caged animals.
   FIGHT. A prearranged conflict between two or more animals but does not include a conflict that is unorganized or accidental.
   KENNEL. Any property of a keeper or owner where more than five dogs or more than five cats are kept.
   NIP. With teeth, to pinch or squeeze the skin of a person, other than the owner or keeper, or to pinch or squeeze the skin of an animal owned or kept by another party.
   OWNER or KEEPER. Any person who shall harbor, feed, or otherwise provide care for domestic animals on his or her property or on public property.
   TAKE. Hunt, shoot, pursue, lure, kill, destroy, capture, gig or spear, trap or ensnare.
   TRAP. To capture, or attempt to capture, by setting or placing a leg hold trap, body-gripping trap, cage, snare or any other similar device to hold, capture, or kill an animal.
