§ 97.040 SEWER CONNECTIONS.
   Any person wishing to connect or to have connected any private drains or sewer with any public sewer or sewers built or owned by the city shall first apply to and obtain a written permit from the Mayor therefor. It shall be the duty of the Commissioner of Streets and Public Improvements to prescribe the mode of tapping the public sewers, the size of the opening therein, if it is necessary to make any, and the materials to be used in such connections. All work done under the authority of such permit shall be under the direction of the Commissioner, and subject to such reasonable regulations as he may prescribe.
