§ 73.061 ENFORCEMENT AND INSPECTION.
   (A)   Enforcement. It is the duty of all sheriffs, deputy sheriffs and other police officers to arrest any person detected in violation of any of the provisions of this subchapter.
   (B)   Inspection. Duty authorized police officers may stop and inspect any snowmobile at any time for the purpose of determining if the provisions of this subchapter are being complied with. If the inspecting officer discovers any violation of the provisions of this subchapter, the inspecting officer may issue a summons to the operator of such snowmobile requiring that the operator appear before the Circuit Court for the county in which the offense was committed. Every snowmobile subject to this subchapter if under way and upon being hailed by a designated law enforcement officer must stop immediately.
   (C)   Resistance to officers. It is unlawful for any person to resist or obstruct any peace officer in a discharge of his duties under this subchapter.
