§ 51.078 DISCONNECTION OF SERVICE.
   If the rates or charges for such service are not paid within seven days after due date of the bill for such service, the City Collector is hereby authorized and directed to notify in writing the owner of the premises, the occupant thereof, and the user of the service that such delinquency exists and that city water service may be shut off, or in circumstances where a property is not serviced by city water, that sewer service may be disconnected or blocked without further notice if such rates or charges are not paid within five days after. Upon the disconnecting of water or sewer service, a charge of $50 shall be made for reconnecting the same after settlement of the delinquent account. An additional $100 charge shall be assessed if one or more city workers must take action on an emergency basis not during normal city working hours.
