(A) All professional presently rendering services to the city shall within 14 days of the effective date of this chapter, file with the City Clerk a current certificate of insurance, duplicate copy of any policy of insurance or some other document evidencing compliance with the requirements of this subchapter. It shall be the duty of the Clerk to maintain all such certificates or duplicate copies of insurance and to regularly report to and advise the City Council as to compliance and noncompliance with this subchapter.
(B) It shall be the duty and responsibility of all such professionals to maintain on file with the Clerk, current and effective certificates or duplicate policies of insurance.
