§ 30.01 GOVERNING BODY; ELECTION OF COUNCIL; BOND.
   (A)   Governing body. The city shall be governed by a Council consisting of the Mayor and four Commissioners under the Commission Form of Municipal Government under Article 4 of the Illinois Municipal Code.
   (B)   Election of Council. The Mayor and four Commissioners shall be elected at-large at the municipal election in 1991 and every fourth year thereafter, and shall hold office for four years. The term of office for the Mayor and four Commissioners shall commence at the first regular meeting of the City Council in May following their election.
   (C)   Bond. The Mayor and Commissioners shall each post a bond in the amount of $3,000, conditioned for the faithful performance of the duties of office and the payment of all monies received by them, in accordance with the provisions of the Illinois Municipal Code, Sec. 4-4-2.
