(A) The corridor from the Marseilles Elementary School at the east and going west along the Broadway Street right-of-way and continuing west on the Commercial Street right-of-way to the 10 Acre Disc Golf Park is designated the "Public Park and School Corridor" and granted public park status in recognition that said corridor heavily utilized by the youth of Marseilles and their family members as a walking, biking and vehicle corridor connecting various public venues designed for education, park and recreation purposes which include the Marseilles Elementary School District #150 School and corresponding recreational facilities, Broadway Park, the City of Marseilles Swimming Pool, the Guthrie Park Recreation Area, and to 10 Acre Park including Disc Golf Park.
(B) The Playground and Recreational Board shall as part of their annual budget request shall include recommendations and financial requests for improvements of the Public Park and School Corridor.
