The City of Marseilles adopts under the Municipal Cannabis Retailers' Occupation Tax Law a tax in the amount of 3% against the gross receipts against all persons engaged in the business of selling cannabis, other than cannabis purchased under the Compassionate Use of Medical Cannabis Pilot Program Act, at retail in the City of Marseilles. The City Mayor and Clerk are authorized to execute such documents as required with the Illinois Department of Revenue to impose this tax.
