§ 73.076 REQUIRED PERMIT.
   (A)   No person may operate a UTV on streets and avenues under the jurisdiction of the city without a valid permit from the city.
   (B)   Permit applications shall be available at the City Office or the Police Department. Permits will only be issued to person(s) that have a Marseilles mailing address.
   (C)   Only persons at least 18 years of age and holding a valid driver's license.
   (D)   At the time of application the applicant shall annually:
      (1)   Provide proof of insurance complying with the requirements of Illinois State Law.
      (2)   Provide all other information as may be required by resolution of the City Council.
      (3)   Submit payment of $50 in full of the permit fee.
   (E)   Permit applications shall be reviewed and approved by the Chief of Police or designee. The Chief of Police may reject an application of a person that does not satisfy permit requirements or a person who has pending or will be receiving a driver's license suspension or revocation or a person who has committed within the last 12 months one or more violations relevant to a UTV.
   (F)   All permits granted pursuant to this section shall expire on December 31 of the year following the yearly the permit was issued. Permits may be renewed by complying with the requirements of this section.
