§ 73.075 DEFINITION.
   For the purpose of this UTILITY TERRAIN VEHICLES subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning:
   DESIGNATED ROADWAYS. Streets and avenues under the jurisdiction of the city not specifically excluded in this chapter. The term DESIGNATED ROADWAYS does not include state highways or county highways.
   EXCLUDED AREAS are designated as:
      (1)   Any private property for which the operator does not have written permission from the owner to drive on.
      (2)   Any sidewalk, paved walkway, Illinois Michigan Canal Trail, or other area designated as a pedestrian path.
      (3)   Grass areas within any of the city's designated parks.
      (4)   Designated snowmobile trails.
   EXCLUDED STREETS are as follows:
      (1)   All areas within Riverview Cemetery.
      (2)   US Route 6 (Bluff Street) except crossing is allowed in a direct line at the following locations:
         (a)   Glenwood Avenue/Forest Road and West Bluff;
         (b)   Sycamore/Glen Avenue and West Bluff;
         (c)   Pearl and East Bluff;
         (d)   Sherman and East Bluff; and
         (e)   Jefferson/Morris Road and East Bluff.
   UTILITY TERRAIN VEHICLE or UTV. A motorized flotation-tired vehicle with at least four but no more than six low pressure tires having an engine displacement of less than 1,500 cubic centimeters and a total dry weight of less than 2,000 pounds which includes a manufacturer installed roll bar and seatbelts.
