§ 37.26 FEE FOR MAINTENANCE, USE AND BENEFITS OF FIRE DEPARTMENT.
   Any corporation, company or association not incorporated under the laws of the state, which is engaged in the city in effecting fire insurance, shall pay to the City Clerk for the maintenance, use and benefit of the Fire Department of the city, a sum of money equal in amount to 2% of the gross receipts received for premiums by any and all agents of any such corporation, company or association during the year ending on every July 1, for any insurance effected or agreed to be effected on property situated in the city by or with any such corporation, company or association during such year, as set forth in ILCS Ch. 65, Act 5, §§ 11-10-1 et seq.
