§ 11.01 CORPORATE SEAL.
   (A)   The seal, circular in form, heretofore provided and used by the city, with the inscription “City of Marseilles, LaSalle Co., Ills.,” around the outside edge of said seal, and the words and figures “Incorporated April 21, 1891. SEAL” within the inner circle of said seal, shall be and is hereby declared to be the corporate seal of the city. The seal shall be used in all cases where it shall be required by the laws of the United States or of the state or by this code and any applicable ordinances of the city.
   (B)   The corporate seal shall be and remain in the custody of the City Clerk.
