§ 33.80 CREATION; PURPOSE.

There is hereby created a Board of Police Commissioners as contemplated under Article 10 Division 2.1 of the Illinois Municipal Code (ILCS Ch. 65, Act 5, §§ 10-2.1-1 et seq.). The Board of Police Commissioners is hereby created to provide for the hiring, promotion and discipline of city police officers.
