§ 35.83 SCHOOLS.
   (A)   It is the policy of the city to encourage its superintendents to seek training in skills that will improve their performance and knowledge. However, the city will allow no more than six weeks per fiscal year of specialized schools.
   (B)   Education.
      (1)   Executive and administrative employees who acquire or hold a bachelor’s degree in a related field pertaining to their job and who have two years of on-the-job experience shall be paid an additional $800 per year added to their base salary.
      (2)   Executive and administrative employees who acquire or hold an associate’s degree in a related field pertaining to their job and who have four years of on-the-job experience shall be paid an additional $400 per year added to their base salary.
   (C)   Longevity. Executive and administrative employees shall be granted a longevity increase of $200 per year of service added to their base pay, after any percent increase. The increase shall be paid only after the employee has completed at least five years of service (or will complete at least five years of service within 90 days of the beginning of the fiscal year). The amount due each employee shall be calculated based upon the above at the beginning of the fiscal year.
