(A) The Mayor, with the approval of the City Council, shall appoint the members of the Middle East Tribute Board.
(B) The Middle East Tribute Board shall consist of seven members.
(C) At the initial meeting of the Middle East Tribute Board, the Board shall assign initial terms of office for board members as follows: one member for a one-year term, two members for two-year terms; two members for three-year terms; two members for four-year terms.
(D) After the expiration of the above mentioned initial terms of office, Board members shall hold office for four-year terms. A Board member may serve more than one successive term.
(E) Appointment of members to the Middle East Tribute Board, whether arising from expiration of term of office, resignation, death, or any other reason, shall be made by the Mayor, with the approval of the City Council from a list of persons nominated by the remaining members of the Middle East Tribute Board.
(F) The majority of the Middle East Tribute Board may remove any member from their board.
(G) Members of the Board shall receive no compensation for their services but shall be reimbursed for their actual and necessary expenses.
