(A) Any employee of the city required to be absent from their regularly scheduled employment for jury service will be paid his or her regular salary for each day of absence as a result of jury service, providing that the employee submits to the City Clerk's Office a certificate from the Clerk of the Court in which jury service is rendered, certifying each day, or part thereof, the employee was required for jury service.
(B) An employee on jury duty will be expected to work as much of his or her regularly scheduled shift as his or her jury duty schedule permits, to the extent that combined time on jury duty and at work does not exceed his or her normal shift hours on a given day.
(C) The employee shall be entitled to keep any remuneration received for such jury service.
