10-7-14: PENALTIES:
   A.   Upon a conviction of a violation of any section of this chapter the court shall assess a fine of not less than one hundred dollars ($100.00) nor more than five hundred dollars ($500.00).
   B.   Upon a finding by the court of a violation of subsection 10-7-6B1 of this chapter, the court may:
      1.   Order the animal in question to be impounded; and/or
      2.   Order the animal in question destroyed; and/or
      3.   Enter a mandatory injunction directing the owner(s) or keeper(s) of such animal to comply with all requirements of this chapter within seven (7) days or to permanently remove the animal from the city, forthwith.
   C.   Upon finding of a violation of any part of this section which involves a vicious animal which was duly licensed pursuant to the provisions of this chapter, the court, in addition to any other penalty imposed, shall enter an order revoking such license and shall enter a mandatory injunction ordering that:
      1.   Said animal be permanently removed from the city within forty eight (48) hours; and/or
      2.   That said animal be impounded and destroyed.
   D.   Each day a violation of this chapter is found to exist shall be deemed to be a separate offense. (Ord. 680, 8-9-2004)
