A. Bond: Each full time policeman, before entering upon his duties as a police officer, shall have a bond, executed by the City, in the sum of two thousand dollars ($2,000.00) with surety to be approved by the Mayor. Such bond will be filed with the City Clerk.
B. Oath: Each of said policemen shall, before entering upon his duties as a police officer, take the oath of office as by the statute 1 in such cases made and provided and subscribe same, which oath shall be filed with the City Clerk. (Ord. 396, 1-8-1990)
