9-11-7: ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES:
The sale of alcoholic beverages in, on, at or about the facility is strictly prohibited. As used herein the term "sale" shall mean any transfer, exchange or barter in any manner or by any means whatsoever and shall include, but is not limited to, the sale of alcoholic beverages on a per drink basis, or when alcoholic beverages are dispensed by the sponsor of any event and those in attendance are required to give something of value to gain admission to the event.
The use and consumption of alcoholic beverages at the facility shall be allowed only under the following circumstances:
   A.   The person or group sponsoring the event must supply at their own expense, a dramshop (liquor liability) policy and endorse the city of Marquette Heights onto that policy as an "additional insured";
   B.   The person or group sponsoring the event gives alcoholic beverages free of charge to those in attendance and those in attendance are not required to give anything of value to gain admission to such event; or
   C.   When the sponsor of an event permits or allows those in attendance to bring with them and to use and consume their own alcoholic beverages.
In no circumstances may alcoholic beverages be used or consumed outside of the building located at the facility.
Any person violating any of these rules and regulations pertaining to the use of alcoholic beverages may be removed from the premises for the remainder of the event which they are attending.
The violation of any of these rules and regulations pertaining to the use of alcoholic beverages at the facility by the sponsor of any event shall cause an immediate termination of the event at which the violation occurs and all persons in attendance at such event shall be required to leave the premises. This provision may be enforced by the police department of the city of Marquette Heights, Illinois. This will cause forfeiture of the deposit. (Ord. 634, 4-22-2002)
