9-10-5: SYSTEM SURVEYS:
It shall be the duty of the superintendent of water to cause surveys and investigations to be made of commercial industrial properties served by the public water supply to determine whether actual or potential hazards to the public water supply exist. The superintendent may survey such other properties whereat he may have reason to believe a hazard to the public water supply exists. Such surveys and investigations shall be made a matter of public record and shall be repeated at least every two (2) years, or as often as the superintendent shall deem necessary. Records of such surveys shall be maintained for a period of at least five (5) years. (Ord. 439, 12-28-1992)
