6-4-5-4: CONSTRUCTION PLANS:
The procedures for the preparation and review of construction plans shall be as follows:
   A.   Submittal Of Construction Plans: Upon approval of the preliminary plat, the developer shall have prepared engineering drawings for the proposed required improvements containing the data and information specified in this title. Such drawings shall be certified by a licensed professional engineer and shall be submitted in seven (7) copies on twenty four inch by thirty six inch (24" x 36") bond paper and two (2) electronic copies (CD) in AutoCAD or Arcinfo format to the city.
   B.   Content Of Construction Plans: Engineering drawings for required improvements shall contain the following minimum information (additional information may be requested by the director of public works and/or the city engineer):
      1.   Plans, details, specifications and cost estimates for roadways and sidewalk construction. Plans shall include existing topography and elevations based on city datum, curb and sidewalk elevations, intersection control elevations, paving geometry for each street, and a typical cross section of each street.
      2.   Plans shall include right of way line, property lines, centerline of both proposed and existing streets, and survey plat lines.
      3.   Plans, profiles, details, specifications and cost estimate of proposed storm drainage improvements with calculations.
      4.   Plans, profiles, details, specifications and cost estimate of proposed water supply facilities.
      5.   Plans, profiles, details, specifications and cost estimate of proposed sanitary sewage facilities with calculations.
      6.   When unusual site or construction conditions exist, the director of public works and/or the city engineer may request such additional plans, specifications and drawings as may be necessary for an adequate review of the improvements to be installed.
      7.   Topography shall be shown as specified by the director of public works and/or the city engineer.
      8.   Developer shall submit two (2) copies on twenty four inch by thirty six inch (24" x 36") bond paper and two (2) electronic copies (CD) in AutoCAD or Arcinfo format to the city of the as built plans for the project. The as built plans shall contain the following information:
         a.   Proposed plans incorporating all changes made during construction.
         b.   The location of each sanitary sewer service termination. The location shall be noted by station and offset from the nearest downstream manhole. The invert elevation at the termination of each service line shall be shown.
         c.   The location of each water service termination. The location shall be noted by station and offset from the nearest in-line valve or fire hydrant.
         d.   The location of all pipeline sleeves where adequate clearance between water and sewer lines could not be achieved.
         e.   The rim and invert elevation of all sanitary and storm sewer manholes and inlets.
         f.   The location and approximate depth of all other installed utilities. (Ord. 665, 9-22-2003)
