A. All subdivisions shall be provided utilities including electricity, gas (as available), telephone, cable television (as available), water, storm and sanitary sewers. Any proposed improvement which deviates from or is not defined by these requirements shall be submitted to the city engineer and city council for review and consideration prior to submittal of final plans and specifications. Utilities controlled by private enterprise shall be installed by those corporations or directly under their supervision.
B. The subdivision shall be provided underground utility services for all utilities proposed. The subdivision shall provide for utilities that are operated and maintained by the city within street rights of way.
C. Utilities shall be located such that whenever possible, gas mains are located on the opposite side of the street than the water mains. (Ord. 530, 3-23-1998)
