A. The course, width, grade and location of all streets shall be considered in relation to existing and planned streets, to topographic conditions, and to proposed uses of land to be served. The proposed streets shall provide for the continuation of principal streets through the proposed subdivision.
B. Minor streets shall be aligned to discourage through traffic. The use of cul-de-sacs and U-streets is encouraged.
C. Half streets are prohibited. Wherever an existing half street is adjacent to a tract to be subdivided, the other half of the street shall be platted with such tract.
D. Alleys shall not be permitted in residential districts. (Ord. 530, 3-23-1998)
