6-4-1: GENERAL:
   A.   The standards provided herein shall be considered the minimum requirements to govern the layout and construction of subdivisions.
   B.   The design of the subdivision shall be in harmony with the character of the city and as allowed in the respective zoning districts of the city.
   C.   Natural features such as distinctive trees or vegetation, streams, ponds, hilltops, bluffs, creek bottoms and outlook views shall be preserved and enhanced wherever possible. Due consideration shall be given to aesthetic features which exist within the tract being subdivided and which may add to the aesthetic quality of existing nearby subdivisions.
   D.   All subdivisions within a flood hazard area are subject to the provisions of title 5, chapter 11 of this code. (Ord. 287, 11-8-1982)
